Letisha is a film and television producer based in New Zealand. She has a desire to tell fresh, character-driven stories with social issues at their heart.
As a creative producer, she works from development through to distribution and with a background in film production, design and marketing, she brings a holistic view to each project. With over 10 years experience, she brings a nuanced understanding of story and an ability to keep films on track and on budget without compromising on quality.
In 2025 she produced Eleanor Bishop’s debut short film GIRL TIME (Venice International Film Festival), created through Jane Campion and Philippa Campbell’s A Wave in the Ocean intensive. For the past several years she has worked for acclaimed producer Catherine Fitzgerald ONZM at Blueskin Films. She was the assistant producer on James Ashcroft’s THE RULE OF JENNY PEN starring John Lithgow and Geoffrey Rush - one of Stephen King’s top movies of the 21st Century - and associate producer on Tusi Tamasese’s award-winning short film FREEDOM FIGHTER. Prior to this she was development producer at Warner Bros. ITVP, including on the BBC-acquired investigative documentary series ESCAPING UTOPIA (dir. Natalie Malcon, Justin Pemberton).
Letisha has also worked as a fixer, local researcher and producer for international productions, such as #TRAVEL for Sinclair Broadcast Group and Roku, as well as STORIES OF A GENERATION for Stand By Me and Netflix.
She has filmed in a total of 13 countries around the world - from an inlet with just 25 inhabitants in Greenland, to tea farms in Kenya and the bustling streets of Tokyo. Her documentary work has been selected by The New Yorker and Short of the Week and has screened at Sheffield DocFest and the British Film Institute. Her clients have included the BBC, CNN, Google and Nokia and her work has appeared on Netflix, Roku, BBC, CNN, SBS, TVNZ, Māori Television and more.
Letisha holds a BA (Film & Media and Art History), and a BCom (Marketing). After starting her career working in advertising and design, she spent nearly five years working as a Producer and then Senior Producer for London and New York based production company Lonelyleap, before returning home to Aotearoa in 2018.
Alongside her producing work, Letisha has a passion for research and is adept at both researching / securing interviewees, as well as in-depth investigative, factual and archival research.
She is currently in post-production on an investigative documentary series with journalist / director Baz Macdonald for TVNZ, as well as a feature documentary. She is in development on multiple projects.
